In the distant future a war was brewing. A war for resources. Earth was running out of resources, the human race had used up all the oil, coal and gas hundreds of years ago. Nuclear power had finlly taken over but that had its limits and the dump sites for the wastes were irradiated beyond use. Metals for space ships and practically every other form of machinery had been used up. Massive scars criss crossed the planet from extensive mining for more metal, fossil fuels and uranium.
